Vintec Club Private Tastings @Home are our new way to gather and share nice moments around our common passion, WINE.

What's the concept?
A Free, Fun, Convivial & Educational program where you'll get access to winemakers, sommeliers, and wine industry actors from around the globe.
During each session, they'll share with you insights about their job, winery, region while sipping WITH YOU beautiful drops.

For our second @ Home tasting, we are glad to be taking our journey from Sonoma County to beautiful Western Australia spending the evening at the respected Cape Mentelle Winery.

Join us and winemaker Ben Cane for an intimate virtual masterclass where you will explore Cape Mentelle's story and taste two of their flagship wines.

Located in a corner of Western Australia, with a rich history of exploration, pioneering Margaret River winery Cape Mentelle celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Cape Mentelle is renowned for crafting vibrant, elegant and expressive wines - particularly Cabernet Sauvignon - that are a true reflection of their distinctive origin.

About your host - Ben Cane:
Ben studied at the University of Adelaide and holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Oenology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry, Psychology.
Ben brings 22 years of experience in winemaking and small premium vineyard management to the position, having worked in Sonoma and Napa, California; Australia; France and Italy.
Most recently, Ben has worked as Head Winemaker at Westwood Estate, Sonoma, CA.

Cape Mentelle Chardonnay 2017 (RRP $50)
An intensely expressive wine of both richness and minerality that speaks loudly of Margaret River. Cape Mentelle Chardonnay reveals fragrance, texture and elegance wrapped in an exquisite package.

Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 ($95)
The king of grapes and the emblematic red wine of Cape Mentelle. Cabernet Sauvignon was the first varietal planted by the Hohnens in the 1970s and the Estate's first wine, which was commercially released in 1976. Cape Mentelle won the coveted Jimmy Watson trophy 2 years in a row in 1983 and 1984 for its Cabernet Sauvignon - putting Margaret River on the Australian wine map.

I want to join the @Home tasting without purchasing wine?
@Home Tastings are FREE to join for Vintec Club Members.
There is no obligation to purchase the wine bundle to be part of the tasting, even if we recommend to fully live the experience.
Upon registration, you will receive a link to join the Zoom session with fellow wine lovers.

How should I order the @Home bundle?
Simply send an email to concierge@vintecclub.com & share your details stating you would like to purchase the wine bundle. Once registered, you will receive an invite from Maison One via email. Maison One is an invitation only site where you can sign in and purchase your Cape Mentelle tasting bundle, as well as have access to the rest of the Cape Mentelle range.

IMPORTANT
The cut-off date to register for the online tasting and guarantee delivery of your wines is Tuesday 28/04 end of day, you will then have until 01/05 to confirm your purchase.
Wine Offer only open to Australia, NZ Members can still join the @Home tasting.
