Private Tastings

For the last @Home Tasting of the year, we are honoured to welcome a very special guest. We had the chance to meet her in January this year at the Gourmet Traveller Wine's NZ Winemaker of the Year Awards. She's one of NZ's most promising winemaker and got awarded NZ Winemaker of the Year 2020.

We are pleased to welcome Jen Parr from Valli Vineyards.

Valli has been a pioneer in Central Otago Pinot Noir: crafting wines in the region since 1993 where there were only 20 hectares planted (today there are over 2,000).

Jen will conduct a Pinot comparison tasting: one from Central Otago and one from the Waitaki Valley, North Otago. A now traditional "wine to cellar" completes the selection.

Jen also selected a wine for the cellar for those who want to complete their wine collection: a Central Otago Pinot from Bannockburn vineyard Pinot Noir 2018.
